VELA Dhi GLOW Pratunam ★★★★

It’s at the heart of Phratunam. With easy access to anywhere in Bangkok. The breakfast was basic fare, enough to last you till lunch. Taxis are plenty outside the hotel. AC was excellent! Near to many Thai Massage parlours.

Not easy if you using Grab for transport as drivers unfamiliar with the Hotel.

Location is great (in between two 7-11, McD and Starbucks just on ground level), short distance to Pratunam Market and near overhead bridge to Platinum Fashion Mall. Reception area is clean and comfortable, with welcome drinks available. Staff were friendly and approachable. Check-in was smooth and fast. Hotel room is spacious and well-lit. Smart TV. Amenities were provided daily. Even able to change pillow type if you do not like the one given. Bed is really comfortable. The bathroom is really spacious and connects straight to the wardrobe, making it convenient to take your clothes. Hot water works perfectly.

Room is slightly dusty (especially inside the wardrobe). Aircon is too cold (tried adjusting but seems to be auto-adjusted esp at night). Smart TV is difficult to navigate (no direct link to YouTube etc). Not a lot of power points. Location of the hotel on Grab is in the middle of the road, need to choose McD as pick up point. But it's just difficult to get a Grab as it's right in front of the busy road.

Location is within the Pratunam area, if you want to go thrift shopping which i love. this is a place to stay. The room is pretty spacious. The staff are friendly and courteous. I like the smell of their lobby which smells fresh all the time.

They need to improve on their bathroom ammenities. Soap needs to be refilled all the time.

Good location, staff were always helpful and accomodating and room was perfect for our stay. Beds were also very comfortable

The station is walking distance to take the train to go to the airport quickly. Staff is really helpful and breakfast was good. Bedroom and swimming pool are like on the pictures Easy (fast and cheap) access to Khaosan Road and the Grand Palace with Tuk Tuk

The AirCon is a bit noisy but is bareable

Furnished and design is old

A few key points: 1. Space: the room was spacious for 2 people. We could open up our multiple bags and have space to walk around. 2. Cleanliness: the room was clean and generally free of stains, mold, mildew and dirt. 3. Design: the wardrobe opens to both the bedroom and the bathroom. Convenient! 4. Amenities: there were plenty of power sockets. For those who are wondering, the power sockets in the room support the flat bladed as well as round pin type sockets i.e. it is a combination socket. 5. Room was working, in good condition. The fridge is small but works i.e. cold and the air conditioning is effective and clean. For someone with sensitive sinuses, I woke up with a clear nose, so the air conditioner works well. 6. Bathroom: spacious, with plenty of space to move around 7. Rooms have connecting doors to an adjacent room, if you are travelling in groups you can see if this is available for your stay.

1. The bed was too soft. It's great to bounce on, but you will wake up with a sore back. 2. There are only 2 lifts in the premises. During peak check-out time, you will have quite a long wait. 3. Since the room is so large, it would have been better if they could provide 2 luggage stands.

Room was nice and clean, view was nice, pool was nice, breakfast could have more options but still quite ok. Location pretty good- close to sky train (fast way to airport), also not far from temples and a lot of shopping malls in walking distance.

Wifi was a bit poor sometimes. We could not change the tempriture of AC, I mean we had buttons for that but it didn´t work, nothing changed.

Overall experience is great. Would definitely come back

I like all about everything.. the place is clean.. and i love how soft the bed is. The location is great near to platinum and night market..

There is nothing i dont like about the hotel. The only thing is the entrance for first time will b difficult to find

EXTREMELY comfortable bed and pillows. The room was spacious and quiet. They even prepared a surprised birthday desert for my mom's birthday. It was also a great bonus to have a massage parlous just one floor below the hotel, great value for money. However, wouldn't really recommend the nail saloon below.

nothing much really. i heard about mixed but mostly average reviews about the breakfast but i have not try it myself.
